The Adoption Application is to gather information that will be stored in our database to make your in-person adoption contract process more time efficient. Completing an application to adopt does not guarantee an adoption.
**Update – Adoption Interest Policy
When multiple potential adopters arrive to meet the same animal, we want to ensure the process remains fair for everyone while prioritizing the best outcome for the animal. If more than one person expresses interest in adopting the same animal at the same time, those individuals will be entered into a randomized drawing, or “lottery”.
The selected individual or family will be given the first opportunity to spend time getting to know the animal and determine if it is a good match. If the match is not successful, the next name drawn will be offered the opportunity to meet the animal. This process helps ensure fairness while allowing our staff to focus on creating the best possible match between animals and adopters.
