Congratulations! You’ve just adopted a new addition to your family. To ensure that your puppy gets off to a healthy start on life, we recommend the following health maintenance schedule:
6 to 8 weeks
- Initial visit to veterinarian and physical exam
- First Combination Vaccinations – Parvo virus, distemper, corona virus, hepatitis, Leptospirosis and parainfluenza in a combination vaccine
- Deworming/Fecal Exam
9 to 11 weeks old
- Second combination vaccination
- Second deworming
- Start monthly heartworm preventative
12 to 14 weeks old
- Third combination vaccination
- Kennel Cough Vaccine
15 to 17 weeks old
- Rabies 1 year vaccine
- Parvo virus Booster
- Schedule Spay or Neuter
4 to 6 months
- Spay or Neuter
Annually
- Annual Physical Exam
- Combination Vaccine Booster
- Annual Heartworm Testing
- Annual Fecal Exam
- Kennel Cough Booster
- Rabies Vaccination – every three years
