Congratulations! You’ve just adopted a new addition to your family. To ensure that your puppy gets off to a healthy start on life, we recommend the following health maintenance schedule:

6 to 8 weeks

  1. Initial visit to veterinarian and physical exam
  2. First Combination Vaccinations – Parvo virus, distemper, corona virus, hepatitis, Leptospirosis and parainfluenza in a combination vaccine
  3. Deworming/Fecal Exam

9 to 11 weeks old

  1. Second combination vaccination
  2. Second deworming
  3. Start monthly heartworm preventative

12 to 14 weeks old

  1. Third combination vaccination
  2. Kennel Cough Vaccine

15 to 17 weeks old

  1. Rabies 1 year vaccine
  2. Parvo virus Booster
  3. Schedule Spay or Neuter

4 to 6 months

  1. Spay or Neuter

Annually

  1. Annual Physical Exam
  2. Combination Vaccine Booster
  3. Annual Heartworm Testing
  4. Annual Fecal Exam
  5. Kennel Cough Booster
  6. Rabies Vaccination – every three years
